I'm Sorry
I'm sorry that I'm falling.
I'm sorry you cannot.
I'm sorry for wanting things
That someone else has got.

I'm sorry I have feelings.
I'm sorry they won't hide.
I'm sorry you're not ready,
And even sorrier that I cried.

I'm sorry I'm not patient.
I'm sorry that I care.
I'm sorry you are taken,
And that love just isn't fair.

I'm sorry I can't hold you.
I'm sorry that she can.
I'm sorry you're so wonderful-
Everything I look for in a man.

But, I'm not sorry I have faith,
And I won't be sorry if I dance,
When you decide to fall in love,
And allow your heart to take a chance.

Vivid (A Kiss)

Provocative mouth
Inviting lips
Embracing tongues
Feel the kiss

Deeper still
Intense desire
Forbidden love
Ignites violent fire

Passions fierce
Intimate ache
All inhibitions
We must forsake

Tender touch
Breeds desperate need
Scandals arise
With every deed

Scorching heat
Abandon doubts
Innocence lost
To hungry mouths

Searching
When I look into your eyes,
I try my best to see,
If I'm everything you dream of,
If this love is meant to be.

I look deeper, finding questions,
And a past of loneliness,
But I also see a light,
Trying to fill your emptiness.

You want me to understand,
That you're afraid to fall again.
Your heart can't take more pain
And I don't know how it's been.

But let me tell you something,
I've had my share of pain,
Yet, through it all I've learned,
That there are rainbows after rain.

Let me be the answer
To the confusion of your soul.
I'll be the hand that guides you.
I'll make your spirit whole.

Looking in your eyes,
I see you need to find,
A love to mend your broken heart,
So let me give you mine.

A Thing Attainable, Yet Unexplainable
The truth of it is, logic knows not of love.

Passion is something the mind knows nothing of.

A yearning engulfs you when two hearts collide.

As desire takes off, you're along for the ride.

Infatuation deems helpless a soul finding love-

That fervent enchantment logic knows nothing of.

The Love Drug
Like the tides
Ebb and flow
Our bodies mingle
Head to toe.

Budding mounds
Tempting peaks
Teasing tongue
Brings rosy cheeks.

Pulsing love
Pleasure there
Fingers roam
Without a care.

Cream abyss
Gentle touch
Exploring deep
But not too much.

Breath on cheek
Intimate sigh
Whispered words
A lovers high.

I Adore
Your soul.
Your heart.
Your body...
Each part.

Your arms.
Both ears.
Your joys,
And fears.

Your smile.
Your walk.
And the way
You talk.

Your legs,
So long.
Your back,
So strong.

Your hair.
Your lips.
The times
We kiss.

Your tummy
(So much.)
Your mind.
Each touch.

Your knees.
Your nose.
All ten
Of your toes.

Your eyes.
Each shoe.
You know...
Just you.

The Comfort of You
Wouldn't it be nice
To sit down next to you
By a fireplace
And just enjoy being so close

I daydream about
Lying down next to you
And entwining my feet with yours
While playing Scrabble

I often wonder
How nice it would be
To listen to you read to me
While I fall asleep in your arms

How would it be
To lie my head on your chest
And feel your heartbeat on my cheek
As you run your fingers through my hair

Sometimes I think
That you are the sound of rain
And my warm blanket...
I just want to wrap myself into you

Possession
Let me touch you.
Let me look at you.
Allow me to drown in the essence of you.

Give me a piece of you.
I want you.
To hold, to kiss, to make love to.
Allow me to feel the depth of your sight.
Let me radiate your love.
Let me bask in your presence.

I can feel the love on you skin.
It penetrates me.
Let me wrap myself in your arms.
Let me sleep in your bed...and in your dreams.
Allow me to bathe you in my love.
Take me.
My heart, my soul, anything to make you whole.

I am yours.
You are mine.
Together, we become the epitome of everything everyone else dreams of,
but cannot achieve.

My Goal
I want to squeeze you
And taste you
And touch you
And tease you.
To hug you
And kiss you.
My goal
Is to please you.
I want to caress you
And lick you
And feel you
Undress you.
To rub you
And suck you.
My goal
To impress you.
I want to entice you
And love you
Allure you
Excite you.
To have you
And hold you.
My goal
To delight you.

Some Things Are Better Left Said
I refuse to not to love him,
For what a lie that would be.
And I refuse to not tell him,
For it's obvious enough to see.

I refuse not to touch him,
For I would betray my poor heart.
And I refuse not to hold him,
For nothing could keep us apart.

I refuse to be told
what I feel is wrong.
It infuriates me that anyone
would steal the soul of my song.
I refuse to be imprisoned
in a heart you deem confused.
I swear to set it free.
I cannot stand to see it bruised.

I refuse to be held accountable,
For love-you cannot touch.
And I refuse to take the blame,
For loving him this much.

I refuse to remain silent,
For silence has led to pain.
And I refuse to accept a loss,
When I have everything to gain.

I refuse to lose this battle,
For it was never yours to fight.
And I refuse to hear I'm wrong.
When you were never right.

A Prayer
When my mother needed comfort,
And life seemed so unsure,
I got down on my knees,
And said a prayer for her.

When my friend lost his faith,
And turned to a life of sin,
I opened my heart to the Lord,
And said a prayer for him.

When your soul was lonely,
And there was nothing you could do,
I looked up to the heavens,
And said a prayer for you.

When my heart was broken,
And my whole world seemed empty,
I closed my tired eyes,
And said a prayer for me.

My mother found her comfort,
My friend found God's care,
You and I found each other,
All because I said a prayer.

Morning
Waking
From the deepest sleep
I open my tired eyes
And yet
Your face is still the only thing I see.

Oftentimes
Oftentimes I wonder, do you dream of me?
Or wish that you could hold me close,
For all eternity?

Do you ever see my face, when you close your eyes?
Or wish that I were in your arms,
Watching starry skies?

Would you dare to kiss my lips, if I gave my heart?
And would you gently touch my face,
Wishing never to be apart?

Would you like to dance with me? (Your arms would hold me tight.)
Or wish that you could hold my hand,
Where it always fits just right?

Do you ever want me near, to hold me close forever?
And wonder what it would be like,
For us to be together?

Oftentimes, I wonder, how much we let it show,
That we've been in love forever,
And didn't even know.
