All These Years
Locked in my room,
There's no where to go.
I hear people talking,
I won't let it show.
Dry tears on my cheeks,
They'll want to know why.
I'll stay right in here.
They can't see me cry.
My heart feels broken,
It seems there's no end,
To this sadness I feel,
That no one can mend.
I'll powder my face,
So no one can tell.
I've been here before-
My own living hell.
No one will listen,
No one ever does.
There won't be a shoulder,
Like there never was.
Locked in my room,
I'll hide all my tears,
And put an a smile,
Like I have all these years.
