Uncertainty
A brand new feeling come across
The newest form of loving lost
I’ve never known betrayal here
Never experienced such a fear
How to cope, I know not
Seems my loving was for naught
My soul in need of much repairing
Disbelief at your uncaring
My love blown round as if it dust
By my love who I did trust
I die that you could walk away
Turn your back on me that day
Giving into someone’s teasing
Not allowing me your pleasing
By another you’ve been claimed
Leaving me alone, ashamed
Led to think I was the one
Sad that we have come undone
Such a frail love’s been tested
The company of someone else requested
Where was your integrity
Why did you not think of me
My spirit under much distress
Because of your unfaithfulness
My heart in such a shattered state
Now I do not know our fate
How do I believe again
Once my soul deprived has been
Are you worth another try
Or just another sad goodbye?

Desire
You make me want to take the plunge,
To let go of my fears,
To hand over my heart to you,
And rid my life of tears.
You make me want to change myself,
Into the woman of your dreams,
To makeover each little flaw,
Become more than I seem.
You make me want to love again,
Submerge myself in you,
To give up inhibition,
And start over anew.
You make me want to reach new heights,
To set you as my goal,
To believe you are the only one,
Who can make my spirit whole.
You make me want to trust my heart,
Forget the hurts of past,
To know I shouldn’t be afraid -
Have faith that this will last.
You make me want to hold on tight,
Rely on what’s to come,
To know that you are there for me,
That you could be “the one”.
You make me want to find myself,
To see me in your eyes,
But I’m so afraid to fall again;
So used to sad goodbyes.
You make me want to reach inside,
Expose the love in me,
To give you everything I have,
For all eternity.
You make me want to open up,
Let go of all the bad.
You make me want to find in you,
The love I’ve never had.

Please Forget
Here is my plea to you... I want you to go away, Never pass my way again, Don't reminisce of yesterday.
If you ever see me,
Don't acknowledge that I exsist,
Turn your head and vanish,
If you have the urge to speak, resist!
Make me just a memory,
And forget all that we had.
If you have to remember anything,
Try to make it everything bad.
I don't want you to miss me,
And if you do, do not say so.
If we end up in the same place someday,
Have the courtesy to go.
Please don't dream about my face,
And forget I have a name.
If you ever think I might be special,
Pretend the whole world is the same.
Don't ever fall in love again,
If you aren't sure it's meant to be,
Because if you up and leave them,
They'll end up just like me.
Me, the broken heart,
Telling you to put me on the shelf.
You're already past this...
I should be talking to myself.

Where The Heart Is
I guess you could say I'm a wanderer, Moving from here to there. It doesn't matter where I live, I could dwell anywhere. However, no matter where I am, And regardless of what I do, Nothing feels like home, Quite as much as you.

Heartache
We knew we'd found love, So we logically said, We'll be true to our feelings, To our hearts and our heads, To our bodies and souls. Each in sync with the other. Engulfed in our roles, Never thought of another.
Such love is persistant, It won't be let down. What one might be missing, In the other they found. Together, so perfect, Two halves became whole. Two hearts intertwining Completed one soul.
But an inner voice said, There's no logic to love, And there are others around You are not thinking of. So, no matter the pain Of being apart, We had to let go. We broke our heart.
He returned to his past, And made haste to forget. She planned for her future, And abandoned regret. Although something is missing, They both must move on, But that bittersweet longing Will never be gone.
